ARRO Consulting Inc. Introduces New Chief Financial Officer
(Lititz, Pa.) — ARRO Consulting Inc., a full-service engineering, environmental, and management consulting firm headquartered in Lititz, PA, recently announced the appointment of Heather Montgomery as their Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
“What began as an extremely thorough search and in-depth screening process has ended with Heather, who I know will deliver a compelling blend of strategic planning and hands-on leadership,” said Cary Vargo, CEO of ARRO Consulting.
ARRO, which grew exponentially in 2022, will rely on Montgomery’s experience as their client base and reach continue to expand. “I am thrilled to be offered this opportunity,” she said. “I look forward to providing renewed leadership and essential finance-specific resources to both our finance team, and to ARRO in totality.”
Montgomery’s background is both diverse and fascinating. As CFO of Flinchbaugh Engineering, Inc. for the past three years, she has championed the implementation of new technology to provide better visibility, and drive efficiency improvements.
Previous to that, while CFO/COO (and ultimately CEO) of Airframes Alaska, LLC, Montgomery grew the company by 899% over seven years through several mergers and acquisitions, the development of new product lines, and the improvement of sales and marketing methods. This success earned them placement on the Inc. 5000 list three times.
“The experience Heather brings in areas such as business analytics and forecasting, financial reporting, and mergers and acquisitions will enable ARRO to be more strategic in our decision-making processes,” Vargo added. “Her influence will greatly improve both our short and long-term business outcomes.”
Montgomery graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Alaska Southeast with a BBA in Accounting. She obtained her first C-level role at age 31, and was featured in a CNN Money article about female C-level executives in male-dominated industries.
Outside of work, Montgomery serves on the board of directors for LifePath Ministries, which provides housing and support to the homeless population of York, PA.
“I am thrilled to join an already impressive leadership and finance team,” she added. “Working with them to provide the financial tools and ideas needed to advance their growth even further is an exciting prospect!”
