Stephanie G. Clay, P.E., has 31 years of environmental engineering experience including regulatory compliance management for industries, environmental compliance audits, development of sustainability programs, project management, planning, design, selection, monitoring, operations, and construction of wastewater treatment systems and industrial wastewater pre-treatment facilities. Additionally, Stephanie assists municipalities with developing and enforcing industrial pretreatment programs.
She provided technical support to wastewater operations and hazardous waste remediation sites; experienced with permitting, regulatory agency coordination, biological treatment, hazardous waste management, contaminated groundwaters, and preparation of reports and construction cost opinions; designed and developed training courses in support of RCRA and environmental compliance regulations.
Stephanie is experienced in field sampling including groundwater, wastewater, stormwater and soil sampling; calculating air, wastewater, and solid waste emissions from industrial facilities for completing compliance reports.
Stephanie is a licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Tennessee. She attended the University of Delaware and received a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Stephanie was an honoree in the Central Pennsylvania Business Journal’s 2020 Women of Influence program and is the Chair of the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association’s Industrial Water Pretreatment Committee.
