Cary B. Vargo is a skilled executive with demonstrated experience and success in operations and administration of various facets of local government, in varying sized municipalities ranging from rural/suburban to large metropolitan. Cary has over 32 years of experience in government, law enforcement, crisis management, crisis communications, emergency management, and pre-hospital emergency medical care. Cary has a strong background in organizational efficiency, budgeting and finance, labor relations, and communications.
Cary served for 4 years as Executive Director of the Chester County Association of Township Officials; assisting elected officials with their mission of advancing ethical local government principles and ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens. Combining this experience with his time serving on numerous volunteer boards, Cary offers a wealth of knowledge and experience in all facets of municipal government.
Cary is available to organizations to assist with management challenges, conduct organizational assessments, provide assistance with law enforcement and/or public works accreditation, budgeting and finance, communications and public relations, and other services as needed.
Cary received an A.A.S. degree in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Administration from the Reading Area Community college, a B.S. degree in Public Administration from Kutztown University, and a M.A. in Public Administration with a certificate in City Management from Villanova University.
